The Independent SF, Great American Music Hall, Rickshaw Stop and The Chapel are all great choices to see some great bands and DJs without having to deal with a big crowd.
If you want to see some bigger artists, but don’t want to head to the biggest venues in the Bay Area, historic venues like The Warfield, The Fillmore, Fox Theater and August Hall.
