Spend an evening with the warm, homespun sound of Oliver Hazard when the Waterville, Ohio indie-folk trio takes the stage on Thursday, December 10, 2026. Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the show beginning at 8:00 PM. The concert is all ages, offering a welcoming opportunity for listeners to experience a band whose music finds inspiration in friendship, hometown roots, and the everyday moments that often become the most meaningful.

Oliver Hazard features Michael Belazis on vocals and guitar, Devin East on vocals and guitar, and Nate Miner on keys and vocals. The group’s story has the kind of unexpected beginning that feels almost too perfect for a folk band. One member returned to Ohio after leading camping trips in California and reunited with two childhood friends with the goal of making an album together. A Facebook raffle gave them the chance to record one song in a studio, but the trio took a different approach: they played their entire album straight through in a single take.

That recording became their 2018 debut LP, 34 N River, which The Fader hailed as a “folk-pop masterpiece.” The momentum from the release led to appearances at festivals including Bonnaroo and Mountain Jam, helping introduce the band’s intimate, melodic sound to a much wider audience.

The group followed with the six-track The Flood EP in 2019, which Billboard described as a “souvenir.” Their self-titled sophomore album arrived in July 2023, combining material from their earlier Northern Lights EP with five new songs. More recently, Oliver Hazard released the Raindrop River EP in December 2024, continuing the musical story that began in their Ohio hometown.

At the heart of Oliver Hazard’s appeal is a simple idea: ordinary life can contain extraordinary beauty. Their music draws listeners toward those small moments, turning friendship, home, memory, and everyday experience into songs that feel personal without losing their broad emotional appeal.

For local audiences, this concert offers a chance to experience that spirit in a live setting, with the trio’s vocals, guitars, and keys creating the foundation for an evening of contemporary indie-folk. Support is to be announced, adding another element of anticipation to the night.

Mark Thursday, December 10, on your calendar and settle in for an all-ages evening with Oliver Hazard. With doors at 7:00 PM and the show at 8:00 PM, it’s an opportunity to hear a band whose music continues to celebrate where it came from while finding new ways to tell its story.
