Best Events in JuneUnion Street Festival: The first street fair of the season, The Union Street Festival take place on the first weekend in June. It takes place along Union Street, between Gough Street and Fillmore Street in the Cow Hollow neighborhood of SF. Stern Grove Festival: A truly unique San Francisco event, The Stern Grove Festival if a free concert event that has been going strong since 1938. Stern Grove, a park purchased by Rosalie M. Stern and later gifted to the city of San Francisco in memory of her late husband, Sigmund Stern, is the setting for this amazing event. A non-profit foundation was established (and is still run by the Stern Family) to make sure that this free event would be a part of San Francisco’s history.
