The Tortured, Death Will Bring Change, Spring Fling, and Trip Dive at Brick and Mortar Music Hall

In 2012, Sam Gearing and Johnny Lawrie founded a band in Berkeley, California, amidst a declining music scene. However, the band faced a setback in April 2013 when Sam took time off to attend school and Johnny embarked on a hitchhiking journey along the West Coast. But the band made a triumphant return in the summer of 2014, with Johnny as the sole remaining founding member and joined by Tom Lee on lead guitar and Don Enberg on drums. Tom Lee has been praised as the next Jimi Hendrix for his unmatched musical talent. Meanwhile, Johnny is known for his unpredictable behavior on stage, from stage diving into the mosh pit to potentially choking himself with a mic cable. The band is now based in San Francisco and continues to be a formidable force in the music industry.

The Brick and Mortar Music Hall is a music venue located in the Mission District of San Francisco. It was established in 2007 and has since become a popular spot for local and touring musicians to perform.

The venue has a capacity of 300 people and features two stages – a main stage and a smaller, more intimate stage. It hosts a wide variety of music genres, including indie rock, hip-hop, electronic, folk, and more.

The Brick and Mortar Music Hall has also been an important part of the San Francisco music scene, supporting local artists and providing a platform for emerging musicians to showcase their talents.
