Creativity and coding combine at Codame’s two-day festival at The Midway in San Francisco, with more than a dozen immersive, interactive installations, screenings and performances celebrating the intersection of art and technology. Your mind will no doubt be blown at these wide-ranging evening events, with AI, robotic and VR-aided exhibits exploring the duality of time and sense of self through parabolic mirrors, algorithmic sketches, digital makeup and much, much more. Music and dance are on the bill too, with The Happy Valley Band, which “translates machine learning analyses of pop songs into music notation” which are then performed live, and Marpi’s Aquarium, “a large-scale, immersive, interactive, physics-enabled generative creature universe that makes music and becomes its own audio-visual show.”
