Vonda Shepard Brings Sound to Feinstein's at The Nikko in San Francisco

On July 14th and 15th, Vonda Shepard and her exceptional quartet will grace Feinstein’s stage to launch her incredible new album, Red Light, Green Light. Witness one of the most electrifying performances you’ll ever see, featuring Vonda’s own compositions from her fifteen albums, such as Shine Your Light, Maryland and Baby, Don’t You Break My Heart Slow, as well as fan favorites from her days on Ally McBeal.

With over twelve million albums sold, Vonda has earned two Golden Globe Awards, two Emmys and two Screen Actor’s Guild Awards, as well as the Billboard Award for having sold the most television soundtrack albums in history.

During the show, guests can unwind, sing along, and enjoy the intimate moments with Vonda at her piano, while also dancing and shouting out requests as she and her band, consisting of James Ralston on guitar (Tina Turner’s band member for 22 years!), Jim Hanson on bass (Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen), and Michael Urbano on drums (Lindsay Buckingham, John Hiatt), energize the room until the end of the show.

Born in New York City in 1963, Vonda has released nine solo albums, four albums for Ally McBeal, and three live albums. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with Jackson Browne, Al Jarreau, and Rickie Lee Jones, and during her time on Ally McBeal, Vonda served as the “behind the scenes” music producer, producing over five hundred songs for artists such as Sting, Robert Downey Jr., Gladys Knight, Chubby Checker, Al Green, and Randy Newman.
