Bay Area RnB Music Experience: Tyrese, Xscape, 112, and Ginuwine at Chase Center

The Bay Area R&B Music Experience is a celebration of the rich history and culture of R&B music in San Francisco’s Bay Area. The event features live performances from some of the region’s most talented R&B artists, as well as exhibitions and presentations that highlight the contributions of Bay Area musicians to the genre. Tyrese Gibson, known simply as Tyrese, is a multi-talented artist who has made a name for himself as an actor, model, and R&B singer. He burst onto the music scene in the late 1990s with his debut album, “Tyrese,” which included the hit single “Sweet Lady.” Since then, he has released several more successful albums and has also appeared in a number of blockbuster films, including the “Fast and Furious” franchise.

Xscape is an all-female R&B group that formed in Atlanta in the early 1990s. The group consists of Kandi Burruss, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, LaTocha Scott, and Tamika Scott, and they quickly gained popularity with their smooth harmonies and catchy hooks. Their debut album, “Hummin’ Comin’ at ‘Cha,” spawned several hit singles, including “Just Kickin’ It” and “Understanding,” and cemented their place as one of the most successful R&B groups of the 1990s.

112 is an R&B quartet that formed in Atlanta in the mid-1990s. The group consists of members Quinnes “Q” Parker, Daron Jones, Marvin “Slim” Scandrick, and Michael Keith, and they quickly gained popularity with their soulful vocals and romantic ballads. Their debut album, “112,” included the hit singles “Only You” and “Cupid,” and they went on to release several more successful albums over the course of their career.

Ginuwine is an R&B singer who rose to fame in the late 1990s with his debut album, “Ginuwine…The Bachelor.” The album included the hit singles “Pony” and “Tell Me Do U Wanna,” and showcased Ginuwine’s smooth vocals and sensual lyrics. He has since released several more successful albums and has collaborated with a number of other artists in the industry, including Timbaland and Missy Elliott.
