San Francisco St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival

St. Patrick’s Day will be here before you know it, so get ready for parades, parties, live music, drinking, eating and more!

One of the largest St. Patrick’s Day Events in the Nation, the San Francisco St. Patrick’s Day Parade has a little something for everyone. This year is the 175th annual event!

The event will take place on Saturday, March 14 and will include both a parade along Market Street and a Festival at Civic Center Plaza. The festival will offer opportunities for everyone to learn more about Irish Culture & History. The festivities surrounding the parade will showcase Irish culture through live performances & entertainment, authentic food and drinks and more.

The Parade will begin at 11:30 AM at the corner of 2nd and Market Streets. It will continue down Market Street to Civic Center. Due to the large number of attendees, make sure to get to the parade route early so you can claim a comfortable spot.

There will also be a Youth Sports Day area of the festival that includes fun activities for kids like hurling, Irish football and camogie.
