INAYAH – Therapy Wasn’t Enough: North America Tour

Goldenvoice presents INAYAH live on Monday, September 28, 2026, as part of the Therapy Wasn’t Enough – North America Tour. Known for her emotionally direct R&B, expressive vocals, and candid songwriting, the singer, songwriter, and actress brings the stories behind her latest album to the stage for an intimate and engaging night of contemporary soul.

INAYAH has built her career around music that speaks openly about relationships, self-confidence, faith, healing, and the complicated emotions that can accompany personal growth. Her latest album, Therapy Wasn’t Enough on EMPIRE, continues that approach, exploring the uncertainties of modern love and the realization that some experiences cannot be neatly resolved. Songs such as “Choose,” “WTF,” “All Falls Down,” and “Outside” draw from deeply personal themes, giving listeners a window into an ongoing journey of reflection and self-discovery.

Her rise began with a combination of songwriting, social media performances, and persistence. In 2014, she began writing songs for a jingle company while sharing cover performances online and auditioning for televised singing competitions. Her rendition of Ella Mai’s “Boo’d Up” eventually went viral on Instagram, dramatically expanding her audience and bringing recognition from artists including Jamie Foxx and Maxwell. Her debut project, S.O.L.A.R. (Storytelling Over Lyrics and Rhymes), followed through EMPIRE in 2019 and went on to accumulate more than 635 million streams, featuring the RIAA Platinum-certified “Best Thing.”

Beyond music, INAYAH has expanded into acting, including her role as Trina on BET’s Emmy-nominated The Ms. Pat Show. Her evolving career reflects the same openness and individuality that define her music.
