Muse is a British rock band that was formed in 1994 in Teignmouth, Devon. The band consists of three members: Matt Bellamy (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Chris Wolstenholme (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Dominic Howard (drums). Muse is renowned for their energetic and extravagant live performances and fusion of many music genres, including space rock, progressive rock, alternative rock, and electronica.
Over their career, Muse has released numerous chart-topping albums, such as “Origin of Symmetry” (2001), “Absolution” (2003), “Black Holes and Revelations” (2006), “The Resistance” (2009), and “Drones” (2015), among others. Their music often tackles themes of love, society, politics, and the apocalypse, underscored by Bellamy’s dramatic vocal style and virtuosic guitar playing, Wolstenholme’s powerful bass lines, and Howard’s intricate drumming.
Notable songs by Muse include “Plug In Baby,” “Hysteria,” “Supermassive Black Hole,” “Starlight,” “Uprising,” and “Madness.” These tracks showcase the band’s innovative approach to songwriting, blending traditional rock instrumentation with electronic music elements and orchestral arrangements.
