SoCal Band Little Feat Plays at San Francisco's Warfield on Saturday July 29th at 8pm

Little Feat is a genre-defying band that originated in Southern California in 1969. The band was formed by Lowell George and Bill Payne, who later teamed up with Roy Estrada and Richie Hayward. The band released their self-titled debut album in 1971 and followed it up with Sailin’ Shoes in 1972. In 1973, Little Feat added a second guitarist and a drummer and adopted a New Orleans funk sound, releasing Dixie Chicken and Feats Don’t Fail Me Now in 1973 and 1974, respectively.

The band released Let It Roll in 1988, which eventually went gold. Little Feat released several more albums over the years, including Under The Radar in 1998, Chinese Work Songs in 2000, Rocky Mountain Jam in 2007, and Join The Band in 2008. In 2010, Richie Hayward passed away, and the band continued touring with Gabe Ford on percussion. Little Feat released a new album in 2012 and brought on Scott Sharrard as a full-time band member after the passing of Paul Barrere in 2019.
