Where to Watch Halloween Movies in San Francisco

It’s officially Spooky Season and we can’t wait for some fright night fun at our local San Francisco cinemas. We’ve rounded up the horror Halloween flicks playing this October so you can get your thrills and chills on.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema’s mission is “good food, good beer and good film all at the same place!” and they sure live up to that statement! Alamo Drafthouse does an incredible job of keeping the old movie theater nostalgic feel while bringing in a new element of fantastic food and drinks. To get you in the Halloween spirit this October they are hosting tons of Fright Nights with lots of spooktacular flicks ranging from the classics to newest hits. They are also hosting special movie parties at their screenings of The Lost Boys and Beetlejuice (Halloween Costumes encouraged). The 4 Star Theater located on Clement St in the Central Richmond District is always sure to deliver an evening full of fun! This October they are serving up some seriously spooky fun with their wide range of Halloween flicks. Once in particular is a screening of Haxan, a one hundred year old silent film that was the first full length feature horror film ever made. The 4 Star will be hosting this screening on Friday the 13th and the movie will be accompanied by live music by Unsound Orchestra.
