The Orwells Rock the Brick and Mortar Music Hall on June 18th in San Francisco

The Orwells are an American rock band from Elmhurst, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. The band consists of members Mario Cuomo (vocals), Dominic Corso (guitar), Matt O’Keefe (guitar), Grant Brinner (bass), and Henry Brinner (drums). The band formed in 2009 when they were in high school, and they have released four studio albums to date. The Orwells’ music has been described as garage rock, punk rock, and indie rock, with influences from bands such as The Strokes, The Black Lips, and The Arctic Monkeys. For one night only, The Orwells come to Brick and Mortar Music Hall in San Francisco for a rocking night of music.

The band gained popularity in the early 2010s with their energetic live performances and catchy songs, and they were known for their rowdy and unpredictable behavior on stage. They have performed at major music festivals such as Lollapalooza and Coachella, and they have also toured with bands such as Arctic Monkeys, FIDLAR, and Twin Peaks. The Orwells have been praised for their raw and authentic sound, as well as their ability to capture the energy and excitement of a live performance in their studio recordings.
