*UPDATE: Zach Bryan will be replacing Luke Combs for this event.
EA SPORTS transforms Chase Center into a thrilling fusion of gaming, live music, and football culture for Madden Bowl 2026. This high-octane celebration brings together top country and rising stars—including powerhouse vocalist Luke Combs, soulful Teddy Swims, Stephen Wilson Jr., Gavin Adcock, and hometown hero LaRussell—for a night of explosive performances and fan-fueled energy. It’s the ultimate way to bridge the worlds of virtual competition and real-world excitement before the big game.
Luke Combs has unfortunately dropped out of the lineup, but for a good reason. He announced that he would need to stay home with his wife before she gives birth to their 3rd child and added that “Family comes first”. While attendees may be disappointed in the last minute change, Zach Bryan has jumped in to take his spot, which is a more than suitable replacement.
However, the addition of Zach Bryan to a lineup that already includes Gavin Adcock is getting the country music world wondering how the 2 musicians will be able to share the same stage after their recent and ongoing feud.
Bryan vs. Adcock
The issues between Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock began in July 2025 when Zach Bryan responded harshly on TikTok to a 14-year-old fan who complained about him not stopping to meet them or sign autographs after a show. She had waited for a long time at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Bryan’s reply was something like: “You’re not entitled after someone plays two and a half hours to a picture or a hello. Get off my d***” (with “GOMD” acronym). Gavin Adcock publicly called out Bryan for the response, criticizing it as unnecessary and saying that fans are the reason artists succeed. He also said Bryan should be kinder (especially to a young fan) rather than lashing out. Adcock suggested Bryan was wearing a “big mask” of authenticity and said he wasn’t a very good guy.
The online fight escalated over the following months, with Adcock continuing to comment in interviews and posts. It reached a boiling point on September 13, 2025, at the Born & Raised Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma where Adcock was scheduled to perform. Bryan, who was not on the lineup, made a surprise appearance during another artist’s set and shouted “Gavin Adcock, f**k you!” from the stage. He reportedly stuck around the festival grounds and was allegedly drunk. Right before Adcock was preparing to go on the stage, Bryan confronted him across a fence. Videos show Bryan yelling, demanding the gate be opened, and threatening something like “if they open this f’ing gate, I’m gonna f’ing kill you.”
He then climbed over the fence toward Adcock, but security intervened and restrained him before any physical contact occurred. Adcock walked away without engaging, later saying he didn’t take the “bait,” had a show to play for fans, and would pray for Bryan. Adcock has since spoken out multiple times claiming he was warned ahead of time that Bryan might try to disrupt his set. The incident went viral, with fans divided—some siding with Bryan’s frustration, others praising Adcock for staying composed.
Hopefully these two mega stars will be able to work things out (or at least keep things chill) at Chase Center, but we will see…
