Galentine’s Day

Galentine’s Day, celebrated on February 13th, is a special day dedicated to the joys of female friendship. It takes place on the day before Valentine’s Day and is the perfect chance to have a crazy ladies night before celebrating Valentine’s Day with your significant other (if you happen to be married or in a relationship). While it may fall on the list of weird and unusual holidays (like National Dive Bar Day or National Salami Day), it actually was “created” on the TV show, Parks and Recreation. Amy Poehler’s character on the show (Leslie Knope) invented the holiday on one of the episodes and people seemed to like the idea.

You may not need a reason to get together with the girls, but it is always nice to get the gang together and enjoy some ladies night fun.
