Wardruna at Paramount Theatre

If you want to see a truly unique live show, then make sure to check out Wardruna. The band was formed in Bergen, Norway in 2003 and influences from their Nordic heritage shine in their music. They feature renditions of Norse cultural traditions that are accentuated by the use of flutes, deer-hide drums, goat horns, mouth harps, kraviklyra and other traditional Nordic instruments. In addition to standard instruments, they also utilize non-traditional instrumentation to create sounds from water, torches, rocks, trees and more. Their live show is just as much fun to watch as it is to hear. 

Warduna is making a much-anticipated stop in the San Francisco Bay Area on Wednesday, October 13 as they take the stage at the historic Paramount Theatre in Oakland, California. Don’t miss your chance to see the incredible and unique band.
