Louis Tomlinson is a British singer, songwriter, and television personality who gained worldwide fame as a member of the boy band One Direction. Born in 1991 in Doncaster, England, Tomlinson auditioned for the seventh series of the British singing competition show “The X Factor” as a solo artist. However, he was later grouped with Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik to form One Direction, which went on to become one of the most successful boy bands in history.

After One Direction went on hiatus in 2016, Tomlinson began his solo career, signing with Syco Music and releasing his debut single, “Just Hold On,” in collaboration with American DJ Steve Aoki. The song debuted at number two on the UK Singles Chart and was certified gold in both the UK and US. Since then, Tomlinson has released a number of successful singles, including “Back to You” featuring Bebe Rexha and “Kill My Mind.” He has also released his debut album “Walls,” which showcases his songwriting skills and versatility as an artist.

In addition to his music career, Tomlinson has also dabbled in television, serving as a judge on “The X Factor UK” in 2018 and as a guest judge on “America’s Got Talent” in 2021. He has also been involved in philanthropic work, supporting charities such as Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and the Eden Dora Trust. Don’t miss Tomlinson at Berkeley’s Greek Theatre on June 29th at 7:30pm.
