Presented by Popscene x Rickshaw Stop, this all-ages show offers San Francisco audiences the chance to experience one of pop’s emerging left-field voices in a live setting, with support to be announced.

Born in Aix-en-Provence, France, and now based in Los Angeles, Cannelle has quickly established a distinctive creative identity since making her musical debut in 2024. Her music brings together avant-garde electronic pop, club-ready sounds, and an aesthetic rooted in the surrealist DIY spirit of the early Tumblr era. Pastel visuals, glittering textures, and a strong sense of feminine interiority are central to the world she creates, while influences from the early Ed Banger era have helped shape her understanding of music that can be both polished and playfully camp.

Cannelle’s creative work extends beyond music. Her striking personal style and icy-blue hair have accompanied an established modeling career that has included work with Valentino, Marc Jacobs, and Rimowa, as well as editorials in Schön Magazine and King Kong Magazine. Now, with music at the center of her creative focus, she is building an increasingly expansive world around her songs.

Her debut mixtape, CINNA, released in June, brings together avant-garde electronic pop created with collaborators including Chicken, Oscar Scheller, and Warpstr. The project also reflects Cannelle’s bilingual approach, placing her within a broader international movement of artists using multiple languages to explore identity and connection.

The visual world of CINNA is just as deliberate, with music videos filmed across Paris, London, Los Angeles, and Japan, all connected by surreal storytelling and her signature pastel DIY aesthetic. Cannelle has since performed in New York, Paris, and Tokyo, including a sold-out headline show at Market Hotel in Brooklyn.

For local audiences, this Rickshaw Stop performance is an opportunity to encounter an artist whose music, fashion, and visual storytelling are all part of the same creative universe.
