The Music of Hey Arnold Live! Feat. Jim Lang and The PS 118 AllStars

Step back into the world of Hillwood with The Music of Hey Arnold Live! Feat. Jim Lang and The PS 118 AllStars, coming to San Francisco’s historic Castro Theatre on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, at 8:00 PM. This special live music event celebrates the distinctive sound of the beloved animated series Hey Arnold! and brings its memorable musical atmosphere from the screen to the stage.

The evening features composer Jim Lang, whose music helped define the identity of Hey Arnold!, alongside The PS 118 AllStars. Rather than simply revisiting the show through a screening, the event puts its music front and center, giving longtime fans an opportunity to hear these themes and compositions performed in a live setting.

For fans who grew up with Hey Arnold!, the music is an important part of the show’s personality. Lang’s compositions helped create the emotional range of the series, moving between jazz, funk, soul, Latin influences, atmospheric passages, and playful melodies. The soundtrack could be humorous and energetic one moment, then reflective and unexpectedly poignant the next. Hearing that musical language performed live offers a different way to appreciate the creativity behind the animated classic.

The Castro Theatre adds another layer to the experience. One of San Francisco’s most recognizable historic theaters, the venue provides a character-filled setting for an evening centered on music and nostalgia. Its location in the Castro district also makes it easy to turn the concert into a full night out.

Another Planet Entertainment encourages attendees to arrive early and support the local businesses surrounding the theater. Guests can explore the Castro neighborhood, enjoy a meal at a nearby restaurant, or browse local shops before heading inside for the performance.

Scheduled for 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, this event is a chance to celebrate the musical imagination behind Hey Arnold! while experiencing Jim Lang’s work in a live concert environment.

Whether you’re a longtime fan of the series, a soundtrack enthusiast, or simply curious about the music that helped shape one of animation’s memorable worlds, The Music of Hey Arnold Live! offers a nostalgic and musically focused evening at the Castro Theatre.
