Bring your little bears to Thrive City on Friday, October 2, 2026, for a playful morning filled with music, movement, rhythm, and family fun at Little Bears Music Class. Designed to help young children discover music in an engaging and supportive environment, these interactive classes turn singing, dancing, and playing with rhythm into opportunities for creativity, confidence, socialization, and joyful self-expression.

Little Bears Music Class offers two sessions divided by age group, making it easier for children to participate alongside others at a similar developmental stage. The first session runs from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and is designed for babies and toddlers ages 3 and under. Later in the day, preschoolers ages 4 to 6 can join their own session from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Families can choose the session that best fits their child’s age and enjoy a musical experience created with young learners in mind.

Leading the fun is Teacher Barb, a guitar-slinging musician who brings an energetic and welcoming approach to every class. Her musical repertoire spans timeless rock ‘n’ roll, country, folk, blues, and jazz classics, along with original songs created especially for children and families. With plenty of opportunities to sing, move, and participate, Teacher Barb encourages children and their grown-ups to explore the beat, feel the rhythm, discover rhymes, and build confidence through music.

The class is about more than simply learning songs. Little Bears teachers create musical journeys that encourage children to interact with music as a natural and joyful form of self-expression. Through shared activities and playful participation, children can develop an appreciation for music while connecting with other young participants and the adults around them.

After the class, families can extend their outing by staying at Thrive City for lunch or treats at one of the area’s delicious restaurants and bars. It is a great opportunity to turn the morning’s musical adventure into a full family day.

Parking is available seven days a week at the Chase Center Garage (CCG), located at 99 Warriors Way. Space is limited and first-come, first-served, so arriving early is recommended.

Guests should also be aware of Thrive City’s venue policies, including restrictions on outside alcohol, coolers, lawn chairs, smoking, drones, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, tents, and other prohibited items and activities. Trained service animals are welcome in accordance with venue guidelines.

Whether your little one is discovering music for the first time or already loves to sing and dance, Little Bears Music Class promises a lively and memorable experience where families can connect, move, and make music together. Come ready to shake, rattle, rock ‘n’ roll, and leave with plenty of musical memories to take home.
