Moms Feelin’ Themselves

Goldenvoice presents Moms Feelin’ Themselves, bringing the Glitz & Glam: The Mom Dance Party® experience to San Francisco on Saturday, September 12. Doors and the show both begin at 7:00 p.m., and the event is 21 and over. Founded in 2022, MFT describes itself as the original “mental-health-intervention-disguised-as-a-dance-party.” The organization launched the country’s first Mom Dance Party® in Denver in May 2023 and has since grown into a broader movement, receiving attention from outlets including CNN, People, and TODAY. The San Francisco edition, presented with Baukunst, is framed as a celebration of women supporting women across different stages of life, from motherhood to business and everything in between.

At the center of the evening is the dance floor. Attendees can expect feel-good throwbacks and a lively atmosphere designed to encourage guests to let loose rather than worry about being polished or predictable. Providing the soundtrack are Samala and DJ Mama K, co-founders of the Rebel Joy collective and organizers with extensive experience creating dance parties and building communities around music. Their approach reflects MFT’s central philosophy that play can be meaningful, joy can be an act of rebellion, and gathering people together can create something valuable.
