The Golden State Warriors are a popular Bay Area sports team with die hard fans all around the country. As with most professional sports team in the NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB, The Warriors have gone through their ups and downs since they moved from Philadelphia to San Francisco in 1962. Since the move, the team has won four NBA Championships, but also had a few rough years along the way. 

In recent years, the Golden State Warriors have proven to be a powerhouse in the NBA. Despite a period of slow years and losing seasons, the team began to turn it around with a few smart draft picks like Steph Curry in 2009, Klay Thompson in 2011 and Draymond Green in 2012 and started to reap the benefits in the 2012-2013 as the team began working its way to an amazing run. The Warriors won an NBA Championship in the 2014-2015 season, the first since 1975 and proceeded to reach the NBA Finals five years in a row, winning 3 titles in the process. They also broke a huge amount of team and individual records, even surpassing the Chicago Bulls legendary 72 win record with a 73 win season in 2015-16.

The Warriors have had some amazing players over the years like Chris Mullin, Wilt Chamberlain, Rick Barry, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green and will surely draft some new superstars in the future. Gong to a game at Oracle Arena in Oakland was a great experience, but with their move to Chase Center, the brand new, state-of-the-art facility in San Francisco, they are sure to attract even more star power to the team and attract fans from all over to see the team in one of the best arenas in the NBA. 

Golden State Warriors Tickets can be difficult to get for big games (and will cost you some serious $), but if you have a chance to get to a game, it is highly recommended.
