The Super Bowl is the pinnacle of American football, an annual championship game that crowns the NFL’s top team after a grueling season of intense competition. For those of us living in San Francisco, it’s hard not to be disappointed about the 49ers terrible final game against the Seahawks. I can only imagine how much more excited everyone would be if they were playing in the game and the wild celebrations that would take place with a win. Although it didn’t quite work out in our favor, the city is going to awesome during the first week of February with lots of concerts, events and other cool stuff.
This year, Super Bowl LX is coming home to the San Francisco Bay Area, hosted at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. This was also the location of Super Bowl 50 in 2016. Kickoff is set for 3:30 PM PT (6:30 PM ET), with the Seattle Seahawks facing off against the New England Patriots in what promises to be a thrilling rematch of their 2015 Super Bowl encounter. The broadcast will air on NBC and stream on Peacock, ensuring fans everywhere can tune in. The halftime show will be headlined by global superstar Bad Bunny, marking the first time a Latino artist takes the stage as the sole performer and the first entirely in Spanish.
The energy will spill over into San Francisco itself, transforming the city into a football fan’s paradise with a week-long lineup of events from February 2-8.
