Alternative Musician Jasper Tygner Takes Stage at The Independent
Jasper Tygner, a rising live artist and producer, has garnered support from industry tastemakers despite being relatively new to the scene. His highly diverse four-track EP, “Real Time,” will be released on alt-electronic label LG105 (which is also home to Mall Grab, Effy, bad tuner, Steel City Dance Discs, and Mafro) on February 23rd. Tygner recently played sold-out shows and set the stage on fire at Field Day and Zamna Tulum, where he shared the stage with Channel Tres and Maceo Plex.
Tygner, who is one of DMY’s “artists to watch in 2023” and Amazon Music’s “Ones to Watch in 2022,” is a multi-instrumentalist from London. He uses keys, piano, and analog Moogs to craft his rich sound, which draws influences from UK Garage, Jungle, Gorillaz, jazz, dubstep, and film/TV. He has honed his craft since the age of nine by playing in jazz bands and orchestras. The EP features two exclusive new tracks.
