She & Him bring their distinctive blend of indie folk, breezy pop, and vintage-inspired songwriting to the stage on Monday, October 5, 2026, with Jordana joining the lineup. Doors open at 7:00 pm and the show begins at 8:00 pm, offering local audiences an evening with one of indie music’s most recognizable creative pairings.
She & Him are the collaboration of indie folk artist M. Ward and actress, singer, and songwriter Zooey Deschanel. The duo emerged in 2008 after the two first worked together on a cover of Richard and Linda Thompson’s “When I Get to the Border.” Their musical partnership soon developed into Volume One, an album that introduced Deschanel’s songwriting and singing to a much wider audience. Released by Merge and Domino Recording Co., the album earned strong critical support, with Paste naming it its best album of the year.
The duo continued their musical journey with Volume Two in 2010, which reached the Billboard Top Ten in its first week, followed by A Very She & Him Christmas in 2011 and Volume 3 in 2013. Their catalog has continued to draw on classic pop influences, with later releases including Classics, featuring songs associated with artists such as Aretha Franklin, Dusty Springfield, Frank Sinatra, and Elvis Costello, and Christmas Party, which arrived in 2016.
In 2022, She & Him released Melt Away: A Tribute to Brian Wilson, reinterpreting Wilson- and Beach Boys-associated classics including “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” “Do It Again,” and “Darlin’.” Their music also found a new generation of listeners in 2025, when “I Thought I Saw Your Face Today,” Deschanel’s first song written for Volume One, became a spontaneous viral hit.
For local audiences, this performance offers an opportunity to experience the long-running collaboration of two artists whose shared appreciation for vintage pop, analog production, songwriting, and classic recordings has defined She & Him’s sound. With Jordana also on the bill, the October 5 event brings together an established duo and a contemporary artist for a night of live music spanning generations of musical influence.
