From “Fire and Rain” to “You’e Got a Friend”, James Taylor is an undeniably iconic singer and songwriter with a massive audience of fans of all ages. One of the best selling musicians of all time, he has been writing, recording and performing for over 5 decades. His career started to take off back in 1970 with the release of “Fire and Rain”, which jumped to #3 and followed up with “You’ve Got a Friend” just 1 year later, which reached #1. Every album after that was successful and saw over 1 million copies sold, leading up to his first US #1 Album in 2015. He boasts a staggering 20 studio albums released including his latest album “American Standard” which was released in 2020. His list of accolades is almost too big to list, but includes 6 Grammy Awards plus a Person of the Year award and an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000. Needless to say, James Taylor is an icon in the music industry and a treat to see live.
