Get ready for an evening of adventurous alternative music when Throwin Bos + Rickshaw Stop co-present Graham Hunt / 9Million, a co-headlining performance on Friday, December 11, 2026. Doors open at 8:00 PM, with the show beginning at 9:00 PM. The concert is all ages, offering local music fans a chance to experience two distinct projects whose work pushes into atmospheric, experimental, and genre-blurring territory.

Madison, Wisconsin-based songwriter Graham Hunt has spent the years since 2019 building an unusually prolific catalog of music. Now preparing to showcase his sixth album, American Pyramid, Hunt has taken a different approach from the homespun, computer-oriented methods that shaped some of his earlier work. For the new record, he entered Minnesota’s legendary Pachyderm Studio with an eight-piece band, opening the door to a larger and more expansive sound.

The result stretches both musically and lyrically. Hunt brings a surrealist perspective to his songwriting, examining traditions of American indie rock while also exploring the uneasy sense of detachment associated with contemporary American life. The scale of the new recording setup gives his ideas additional room to develop, making the live performance an intriguing opportunity to experience this next stage of his creative work.

Sharing the co-headlining bill is 9Million, a Toronto-based alternative rock and shoegaze project led by multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer Matthew Tomasi. Known for his production and mixing work with artists including Ethel Cain and Nicole Dollanganger, Tomasi originally began 9Million as a creative outlet for exploring sounds that did not fit within his other projects and client work. The project soon evolved into a collaborative band.

Tomasi is joined by Ace Mendoza on lead guitar and vocals, Danielle Clark on vocals and acoustic guitar, Lia Lepre on keys and percussion, Jamie Fastlane on bass, Noah Aviles-Betel on drums, and Looch Man on guitar and vocals. Since releasing “Gush,” 9Million has toured across North America, supporting acts including Glitterer, Cold Mega, Ethel Cain, Angel Du$t, Candy, and Fleshwater.

With support still to be announced, the December 11 bill offers a full night of exploratory guitar music, ambitious songwriting, and collaborative energy. Whether your tastes lean toward indie rock, shoegaze, atmospheric sounds, or experimental approaches to familiar forms, this co-headlining show brings two distinctive musical worlds together.

Join Graham Hunt and 9Million for an all-ages night at Rickshaw Stop. Doors open at 8:00 PM and the show begins at 9:00 PM, with support TBA.
