Experience Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall, a filmed concert presentation directed by acclaimed filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson, on Wednesday, December 2, 2026. With doors opening at 6:30 PM and the show beginning at 7:30 PM, this special screening captures Winter’s December 2025 return to New York for a sold-out concert at the legendary Carnegie Hall.

Rather than a conventional live concert, Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall brings that performance to the screen as a concert film. Winter, the frontman of the band Geese, returned to New York following a months-long sold-out tour to perform a single Carnegie Hall show. That performance became the foundation for this cinematic presentation, giving audiences an opportunity to experience the atmosphere, music, and visual character of the concert through the lens of one of contemporary cinema’s most distinctive directors.

The film was directed and shot on 35mm and 16mm by Oscar-winning filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson, known for his work on films including One Battle After Another. The creative team also includes filmmaker and actor Benny Safdie, known for The Smashing Machine, and Grammy-winning music producer Ariel Rechtshaid, whose production credits include albums by Vampire Weekend and Adele.

Cameron Winter has attracted attention for both his solo work and his performances with Geese. His solo album Heavy Metal was recognized as one of the year’s notable releases by publications including Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Paste, and Mojo. Geese’s album Getting Killed also received significant year-end recognition, including being named the best album of 2025 by The New Yorker, NME, and Stereogum.

The Carnegie Hall performance itself received strong critical attention, with GQ describing the show as “staggeringly good.” Musician Nick Cave has also praised Winter’s distinctive vocal style and songwriting.
