Get ready to move, sweat, and feel stronger with Elevated Intervals + Aligned – Pilates, part of Thrive City’s Weekly Fitness Classes presented by Kaiser Permanente. Taking place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, this free fitness experience brings the Bay Area community together for a motivating morning of movement, strength, and wellness. Open to all fitness levels, the classes are designed to help everyone—from experienced fitness enthusiasts to those beginning their wellness journey—feel energized and empowered.

The morning kicks off at 10:00 a.m. with Elevated Intervals – HIIT, an upbeat, full-body workout built around bursts of cardio and targeted exercises for the lower body, upper body, and core. The fast-paced format is designed to keep you engaged while challenging different muscle groups and helping you build strength and stamina. Expect an invigorating workout that encourages you to step outside your usual routine and leave feeling powerful and ready to take on the weekend.

At 11:00 a.m., the energy continues with Aligned – Pilates, a Pilates-inspired class combining core conditioning with an extra touch of fitness intensity. This second session offers a focused way to strengthen and engage your core while continuing to move in an encouraging group environment. Attendees can participate in either class or stay for both to enjoy a full morning of fitness.

This week’s classes will take place at Thrive City’s East Plaza, on the corner of 16th Street and Terry A. Francois Blvd. The open-air setting provides a lively backdrop for getting active while connecting with fellow members of the community.

Leading the sessions is Jai Mac Neil, a University of San Francisco professor in the Kinesiology Department and Change Institute, as well as the creator and facilitator of the Self-Transformation Empowerment Program. Jai is also a Performance Coach for the Golden State Warriors, motivational speaker, and mindset specialist. Her impressive professional background includes working with organizations such as TIME, Forbes, NIKE, Kaiser, Lululemon, and Equinox, as well as athletes from the NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, MLS, and NHL and an Olympic medalist.

Participants should bring a bottle of water and a mat. Classes are free, but space is limited and available first-come, first-served, so arriving early is recommended.

Parking is available seven days a week at the Chase Center Garage (CCG), located at 99 Warriors Way. Guests should also be aware of Thrive City’s venue policies, including restrictions on outside alcohol, coolers, lawn chairs, smoking, drones, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, tents, and other prohibited items or activities. Trained service animals are welcome according to venue guidelines.

Whether you are looking for a high-energy workout, a focused core session, or both, this Thrive City experience is a great opportunity to move with the community and start your weekend feeling strong, energized, and ready to thrive.
