The Aquabats! — Trick-or-Treat to the Beat

Goldenvoice Presents The Aquabats! for Trick-or-Treat to the Beat on Thursday, October 22, 2026, with special guests Mariachi El Bronx and Mrs. Magician. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with the show beginning at 7:00 PM. The event is all ages, making it a fitting night out for longtime fans, families, and anyone looking for a Halloween-season concert that combines live music with plenty of theatrical fun.

Since forming in Orange County in 1994, The Aquabats! have built a unique identity by treating punk rock as both a musical style and a form of playful performance. Their superhero-inspired costumes, colorful characters, stage antics, and intentionally lighthearted approach have helped them stand apart from more traditional punk acts. Rather than taking themselves too seriously, the band has made humor, imagination, and audience participation central to its live shows.

The current lineup features Christian Jacobs, aka “The MC Bat Commander,” on vocals; Chad Larson as “Crash McLarson” on bass and vocals; Ian Fowles as “Eaglebones Falconhawk” on guitar; Richard Falomir as “Ricky Fitness” on drums; and James Briggs as “Jimmy the Robot” on keyboards, woodwinds, and vocals. Additional musicians may also join the expanded lineup.

The Aquabats! have maintained a career spanning music, television, and live entertainment. Their The Aquabats! Super Show! series introduced their colorful world to an even wider audience, earning multiple Daytime Emmy nominations and a win. Their catalog includes releases such as The Return of the Aquabats!, The Fury of the Aquabats!, and The Aquabats vs. The Floating Eye of Death!.

For this Halloween-season performance, Mariachi El Bronx adds a distinctive mariachi-inspired rock element to the lineup, while Mrs. Magician brings another layer of alternative and punk-influenced music to the evening.

With its all-ages format, early evening start, and Halloween-themed concept, Trick-or-Treat to the Beat offers more than a standard concert. Attendees can expect energetic punk rock, theatrical characters, humor, costumes, and a festive atmosphere designed around The Aquabats!’ playful approach to live entertainment.
