Wasia Project brings their genre-blurring sound to the stage on Tuesday, March 2, 2027, for an immersive evening centered on music, emotion, and connection. The sibling duo of Olivia Hardy and Will Gao has developed a distinctive musical identity that draws from their classical training while embracing electronic production, modern soul, dance music, and cinematic piano-pop. Doors open at 7:00 pm, with the show beginning at 8:00 pm.

The performance arrives during an exciting chapter for Wasia Project, whose debut album, Nocturne, explores the emotional complexity of growing up in an increasingly connected yet often isolating world. Across 12 tracks, the duo creates a nocturnal soundscape that moves between intimate introspection and the collective energy of the dancefloor. Their music can feel simultaneously delicate and expansive, pairing piano and strings with electronic rhythms, layered production, and atmospheric vocals.

Much of Nocturne is shaped by the contrasting creative approaches of its two members. Olivia’s meticulous songwriting and classical sensibility meet Will’s instinctive, feeling-first approach to production, resulting in music that continually shifts between softness and intensity. Tracks such as “2515,” “Vogue,” “Strike Me Down From Heaven,” “Moon Goddess,” and “Wildfire” showcase different facets of the album, from pulsing electronic grooves and club-inspired energy to experimental arrangements and emotionally charged balladry.

The album’s themes make the live experience particularly compelling. Inspired in part by the isolation and disconnection experienced by a digitally saturated generation, Nocturne considers what it means to seek genuine human connection. The duo also draws intuitively on their Chinese heritage, while incorporating influences and imagery associated with cities including Beijing, Hong Kong, Berlin, and London. Their music creates a world where classical composition, contemporary nightlife, and personal storytelling can coexist.

With longtime collaborator and producer Declan Gaffney helping shape the album’s evolving sound, Wasia Project has created a body of work that resists easy genre definitions. Their March 2 performance offers audiences an opportunity to experience that world in a communal setting—one that moves between stillness and motion, solitude and celebration, and introspection and release. Guests should plan to arrive when doors open at 7:00 pm for the 8:00 pm show on Tuesday, March 2, 2027.
