The Wallflowers at The Fillmore

The Wallflowers bring their distinctive blend of rock and roots-inspired songwriting to The Fillmore in San Francisco on Sunday, October 18, 2026. With doors opening at 7:00 PM and the show beginning at 8:00 PM, the evening offers local audiences an opportunity to experience the band in a classic live concert setting.

Led by Jakob Dylan, The Wallflowers are known for a sound that balances alternative rock with elements of Americana, folk, and traditional roots music. Their songs often pair melodic guitar work and straightforward rock arrangements with a strong emphasis on songwriting, giving their music an accessible character while retaining plenty of depth.

The band’s live performances provide an opportunity to hear that musical identity in a more immediate environment. For longtime listeners, the October 18 concert is a chance to reconnect with The Wallflowers’ catalog in a venue where the audience is close to the stage and the performance remains the focus. For newer listeners, it can serve as an introduction to a group whose music bridges different eras and styles of American rock.

The San Francisco event will be general admission only, with an open dance floor and standing room only. There will be no reserved seating, so attendees should be prepared to stand throughout the evening. The open format also gives the crowd freedom to move with the music and creates a shared atmosphere between the stage and audience.

The schedule is straightforward, with doors at 7:00 PM and the performance at 8:00 PM. Guests may want to arrive with enough time to enter the venue and find a comfortable place on the floor before the show begins.
