The Music of Queen

Experience the music of one of rock’s most iconic bands in a spectacular concert event as The Music of Queen comes to San Francisco’s Curran Theatre on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 7:30 PM PT. Performed by the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Orchestra, this special production brings Queen’s legendary catalog to life through the combined power of a full orchestra, rock band, and commanding vocals.

Few artists have created a body of work as theatrical, ambitious, and genre-defying as Queen. Songs such as “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Somebody to Love,” “Don’t Stop Me Now,” “We Are the Champions,” and “Killer Queen” blend rock, opera, pop, and intricate vocal harmonies into music that continues to resonate with audiences around the world.

This concert offers a fresh perspective on those celebrated songs by pairing the energy of a full rock band with the richness of orchestral instrumentation. Strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion add new depth, scale, and dramatic weight to Queen’s powerful melodies, layered harmonies, and unforgettable crescendos. The result is a performance that captures the swagger and intensity of the original recordings while expanding their sound into a sweeping orchestral experience.

The Curran Theatre provides an elegant setting for this celebration of Queen’s music. With doors opening at 6:00 PM, attendees have plenty of time to arrive, find their seats, and settle in before the performance begins at 7:30 PM.
