Friday night gets a fresh dose of shimmering indie-rock energy when The Hails arrive at Rickshaw Stop for a special evening presented by Popscene x Rickshaw Stop. With MELDROP providing support, this all-ages show brings together a pair of emerging acts for a night built around live music, distinctive sounds, and the kind of intimate venue atmosphere that makes a concert feel personal.

The Hails’ story began through a series of unexpected encounters that eventually brought Robbie Kingsley, Franco Solari, Dylan McCue, and Zach Levy together. First connected through Miami’s high school music scene, the group officially formed while attending the University of Florida in Gainesville. Their early years were spent developing their sound in a college house, turning an unconventional setting into the foundation for the polished musical identity they would eventually become known for.

After graduation, the band returned to Miami, a city that helped shape their early work. Songs including “Younger” and “Stay”, along with their 2020 debut EP He Seems Upset and 2021’s Alive in Strange Ways, established the foundation for their evolving sound. In 2023, The Hails released their debut full-length album, What’s Your Motive, expanding their reach and earning international praise.

Their journey has since taken them to major festivals including Governors Ball, III Points, and Okeechobee, alongside sold-out headline performances and tours supporting artists such as The Revivalists, Quarters, The Beaches, flipturn, and the moss. Now, with band members living in Miami, DC, and Brooklyn, The Hails continue to develop their collaborative approach while preparing for the release of their second full-length album later this year.

For local music fans, this show offers a chance to catch The Hails in a live setting as they enter their next chapter. Whether you’ve followed their music since He Seems Upset or are discovering the band for the first time, the Rickshaw Stop stage provides an ideal setting to experience their evolving sound up close.

Doors open at 8:00 PM, with the show starting at 9:00 PM on Friday, November 13. Tickets are $22 in advance and $25 during the week of the show, and the event is all ages.

Bring your friends, make a night of it, and discover what The Hails have been building. With MELDROP opening the evening and The Hails taking the stage, Friday, November 13 is an opportunity to experience two acts and spend the night immersed in live music at Rickshaw Stop.
