The Sunset Night Market returns with a vibrant Lunar New Year edition on Friday, February 27, from 5PM to 10PM along Irving Street (from 20th to 25th Avenues) in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset neighborhood. This all-ages, award-winning event, inspired by iconic Asian night markets, kicks off a four-part 2026 series and welcomes the Year of the Horse with prosperity, joy, success, and community spirit—perfect for families, friends, or anyone ready to celebrate.
Stroll the bustling car-free street lined with dozens of food vendors serving authentic, mouthwatering dishes from across Asia and beyond, alongside live entertainment, cultural performances, interactive activities, artisan makers, small businesses, and local community artists. Eat your way through the night, discover hidden gems, dance to music, and soak in the electric atmosphere of lanterns, lights, and laughter. Presented by Sunset Mercantile, Wah Mei, Into The Streets, and ASIAN Inc., it’s a heartfelt way to ring in the new lunar year with food, culture, and connection. Mark your calendar for the rest of the series too: Dragon Boat Festival on June 12, Autumn Moon Festival on September 25, and Dong Zhi/Holiday Market on December 11. Come hungry, bring the crew, and welcome good fortune in true Sunset style!
