STS9 returns to the stage on Saturday, January 16, 2027, bringing an immersive fusion of electronic music, live instrumentation, improvisation, and visual artistry to audiences for an unforgettable night of sound and light. With a career built around musical exploration and innovation, the instrumental five-piece has spent more than two decades developing a distinctive style that continues to push the boundaries of electronic dance music. The band features Hunter Brown on guitar and programming, Jeffree Lerner on percussion, David Phipps on keyboards, Zach Velmer on drums, and Alana Rocklin on bass. Together, they combine acoustic musicianship with electronic production to create an expansive sound that moves effortlessly between driving dance rhythms, funk and jazz-inspired explorations, intricate drum and bass, and atmospheric instrumental passages.
