Aaron Chen: Technology Live in Castro Theater

Get ready for an eclectic night of genre-defying music when strongboi and Salami Rose Joe Louis take the stage at [Venue] in [City] on Tuesday, March 9, 2027. Berlin-based strongboi began as a collaborative project between close friends Ziv Yamin and Alice Phoebe Lou. Initially conceived as a playful, ultra-lo-fi experiment built around Casio keyboards, toys, and unconventional sounds, the project has since evolved into a full-band experience while maintaining the spontaneity and DIY character of its beginnings. Their live performances move fluidly across styles, creating a musical journey that can shift from energetic disco dance tunes to relaxed, jazz-influenced ballads.

After releasing three singles in 2020 that helped introduce strongboi to a wider audience, the duo developed its debut self-titled album at their own studio, La Pot. The record captures the project’s colorful range of influences and emotions while preserving a sound that feels unmistakably personal. On stage, these songs take on a new dimension through the energy and chemistry of the expanded live band.

Joining strongboi is Salami Rose Joe Louis, an artist known for an imaginative and exploratory approach to contemporary music. Her appearance adds another layer of musical discovery to a lineup centered on creativity, experimentation, and genre-crossing expression.
