Pallbearer brings its Foundations of Burden Tour to the stage on Saturday, September 5, 2026, with Ordh and Chrome Ghost joining the lineup. Doors open at 7:00 PM and the show begins at 8:00 PM. Tickets are priced at $25 in advance and $30 at the door, with the event offering fans an opportunity to experience one of Pallbearer’s defining albums in a special live setting.

The Arkansas-based doom metal band is celebrating the 2025 Redux edition of Foundations of Burden, its landmark 2014 album. More than a decade after the original release, Pallbearer returned to the album’s original recording sessions to reconstruct its sound from the ground up. The resulting edition features new mixes and mastering designed to reveal nuances that the band felt were difficult to fully capture during the original production process.

The story behind the record adds another layer to the tour. According to bassist and vocalist Joseph D. Rowland, the original album was created under difficult circumstances, with limited equipment, an unstable recording environment, and repeated technical problems. Some sections had to be recorded multiple times, particularly the guitar parts, as files were lost or corrupted during the sessions. Despite those challenges, the band completed an ambitious six-song, 55-minute album that would become an important part of its catalog.

For the Redux project, Pallbearer revisited the original sessions with the benefit of more than a decade of experience performing these songs live. The band produced the new version itself, with Mario Quintero of Spotlights handling the mixing and Adam Gonsalves responsible for mastering. The release also features new artwork by painter Benjamin Vierling.

The September 5 performance is part of a series of select shows in which Pallbearer will perform Foundations of Burden in its entirety. That makes the evening particularly relevant for longtime fans of the album, while also offering newer listeners a focused introduction to one of the band’s most significant works.

Ordh and Chrome Ghost round out the bill, bringing additional heavy sounds to an evening built around immersive, expansive music.
