My Morning Jacket

My Morning Jacket at The Fillmore

My Morning Jacket continues its San Francisco run with another performance at The Fillmore on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. The band’s distinctive mix of rock, Americana, folk, blues, and psychedelic influences makes for a live experience that can move between intimate songwriting and expansive, high-energy passages. Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the show scheduled for 8:00 PM.

Over the years, My Morning Jacket has developed a sound that comfortably crosses genre boundaries without losing its identity. Their music can draw on roots-oriented melodies and traditional songwriting while incorporating atmospheric textures, electric rock dynamics, and more exploratory elements. That combination gives the band’s live performances a broad range, with plenty of space for musical contrast and audience energy.

For San Francisco concertgoers, this performance also offers the chance to experience the band at The Fillmore, one of the city’s most recognizable music venues. The October 7 event is general admission only, and the venue will operate an open dance floor with standing room only. There will be no reserved seating, so attendees should plan for a standing concert experience from the time they enter until the performance concludes.

The open-floor arrangement creates a more immediate connection between the audience and the stage. Rather than settling into assigned seats, guests will share the floor and can move with the music throughout the evening. For a band whose repertoire can shift from quieter, reflective moments to fuller and more driving arrangements, the format is well suited to an audience that wants to be part of the atmosphere.

The evening’s schedule is easy to plan around: doors open at 7:00 PM and the show begins at 8:00 PM. Since the event is standing room only, arriving with enough time to enter and get comfortable on the floor can help make the evening more enjoyable.

Whether you’re a longtime My Morning Jacket listener or simply interested in an eclectic live-rock performance, the October 7 concert offers an opportunity to hear the band in a direct, energetic setting. With the open dance floor at The Fillmore, expect an evening centered on live musicianship, genre-crossing songwriting, and the shared experience of a standing-room concert.
