Step into a world of monsters, misfits, circus oddities, and late-night revelry at MONSTER’S BALL, a theatrical Halloween-season celebration coming to Public Works in San Francisco on Friday, October 9, 2026. Presented by The Ruckus Revival and Disco Donutz Circus, the event promises an unconventional night that combines live performance, comedy, music, burlesque, circus arts, and dancing under one delightfully strange roof.

Rather than functioning as a traditional costume party, MONSTER’S BALL is built around an eclectic variety-show atmosphere. Throughout the evening, audiences can encounter aerial performances, contortion, pole and burlesque acts, comedy, poetry, freestyle rap battles, beat-boxing, sideshow entertainment, and haunted hip-hop. The program brings together performers from the Ruckus Revival and Disco Donutz communities, creating a constantly changing lineup designed to keep the night unpredictable.

Featured Disco Donutz talent includes Jeff Straw and his Sinister Sax, Maculate the Audio-Visual Vampire, Moist Magnolia, Nurse Noise, and Thug Shells, with Jamie DeWolf, Wonder Dave, and Thug Shells serving as hosts. Additional performers from The Ruckus Revival and the Misfit Mob stage crew contribute to the evening’s theatrical character.

One of the event’s biggest attractions is the opportunity for attendees to participate in the spectacle themselves. Costumes are encouraged, and creatively dressed guests can become part of the visual energy filling the venue.
