Monsta X at SAP Center

Get ready San Jose, K-Pop is coming. We’re talking about South Korean supergroup, Monsta X, who debuted in 2015 with an introductory EP entitled “Trespass” and took over the K-pop world with their music. The band was created through a “survival program” in South Korea called No.Mercy where select potential members competed for a spot in the group through singing competitions that were aired over 10 episodes, with the winners chosen during the last episode. The boy group currently consists of 6 members (there were originally 7 members, but vocalist Wonho left to pursue a solo career) including Joohoney, Hyungwon, Kihyun, Shownu, I.M. and Minhyuk who are going on an International Tour following the release of their first English album, “All About Luv”, which peaked at #5 on the Billboard Charts.
