Live Music Lunch Series

Turn an ordinary lunch break into a chance to enjoy live music, fresh air, and the lively atmosphere of Thrive City with the Live Music Lunch Series. This free outdoor program invites the Bay Area community to step away from the pace of the workday and spend part of the afternoon listening to talented local musicians while enjoying a meal in the plaza.

The series offers a relaxed setting that works well for a variety of occasions. Nearby workers can use the performances as a refreshing midday break, while friends, families, and visitors can meet up for lunch and enjoy live entertainment without needing to plan a full day around it. The open-air environment also provides an opportunity to sit outside, soak up some sunshine, and experience local music in a casual community setting.

Guests are welcome to bring lunch from home or purchase a meal, coffee, snack, or treat from one of the restaurants and bars at Thrive City. Once you have your food, find a spot in the available plaza seating and settle in for the performance. The combination of local musicians, outdoor seating, and convenient dining options makes the series an easy addition to a weekday schedule.

The Live Music Lunch Series is free to attend, although space is limited and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors who plan to drive can park at the Chase Center Garage at 99 Warriors Way, which is available seven days a week.

Before attending, guests should familiarize themselves with Thrive City’s venue policies. Prohibited items and activities include weapons, outside alcohol, smoking, drones, amplified sound, coolers, lawn chairs, bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, scooters, motorized vehicles, tents, and overnight camping. Pets must remain on a leash, and trained service animals are welcome in accordance with Thrive City guidelines. Guests are also asked to dispose of trash and recyclable materials in designated receptacles.

Whether you are looking for a change of scenery during your workday or simply want to enjoy lunch accompanied by live local music, the Live Music Lunch Series offers a straightforward way to make the middle of the day a little more memorable at Thrive City.
