Bring your little music lovers to Thrive City for Little Bears Music Class, an interactive experience designed to introduce young children to the joy of rhythm, melody, movement, and musical expression. Through singing, dancing, playful activities, and age-appropriate musical exploration, the class encourages children to build confidence while discovering how music can be a natural and joyful way to connect with themselves and others.

The program is divided into two sessions to provide activities suited to different stages of early childhood development. From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., babies and toddlers ages 3 and under can participate in a music class centered on early socialization, musical appreciation, and hands-on exploration. From 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., preschoolers ages 4 to 6 can enjoy a session tailored to their growing musical awareness and developing sense of rhythm. Families can choose the session that best matches their child’s age group.

Leading the musical fun is Teacher Barb, a guitar-playing musician who brings a lively mix of classic rock ‘n’ roll, country, folk, blues, jazz, and original songs created especially for children and families. Her classes are designed to create a supportive environment where children and caregivers can participate together. Along the way, young participants can practice singing in tune, explore different beats, recognize rhythm and rhyme, and express themselves through movement and music.

Little Bears Music Class offers families an opportunity to make music part of their shared experience while helping children engage with important social and creative skills. No matter a child’s previous exposure to music, the emphasis is on participation, discovery, and having fun together.

After class, families can continue their day at Thrive City by stopping for lunch or a treat at one of the plaza’s dining options. Parking is available seven days a week at the Chase Center Garage at 99 Warriors Way.

Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
