Bring your little bears to Thrive City on Friday, November 6, 2026, for a playful morning and afternoon of music, movement, and family connection with Little Bears Music Class. Designed to help young children discover music through joyful participation, the program encourages socialization, musical appreciation, rhythm, melody, and creative self-expression in a welcoming environment.

The event features two age-specific sessions, allowing children to explore music alongside others at a similar stage of development. The 10:00 AM–11:00 AM session is designed for babies and toddlers ages 3 and under, while the 12:00 PM–1:00 PM session is intended for preschoolers ages 4–6. Families can choose the session that best matches their child’s age and developmental level.

Leading the musical experience is Teacher Barb, a guitar-slinging musician who brings a broad selection of musical influences to her classes. Her sessions incorporate timeless rock ‘n’ roll, country, folk, blues, and jazz classics, along with original songs created specifically for children and families. Through singing, dancing, rhythm exercises, and playful interaction, children are encouraged to explore the fundamentals of music while building confidence and connecting with others.

The class is designed to be more than simply listening to songs. Children can participate actively by finding the beat, feeling the rhythm, exploring rhyme, singing along, and moving to the music. Adults are encouraged to join the fun as well, making the experience an opportunity for families to create shared memories while introducing young children to the joy of musical expression.

After class, families can extend their outing by enjoying lunch or a treat at one of the restaurants and bars throughout Thrive City. Parking is available seven days a week at the Chase Center Garage (CCG), located at 99 Warriors Way.

Space for the classes is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so families are encouraged to arrive early. Thrive City also maintains policies prohibiting items and activities including weapons, outside alcohol, coolers, lawn chairs, smoking, drones, amplified sound, and motorized vehicles. Pets must remain leashed, and trained service animals are welcome under the venue’s guidelines.
