American Reggae Artist J Boog Takes Center Stage at San Francisco's Midway

J Boog is an American reggae artist known for his soulful voice, catchy melodies, and authentic Jamaican sound. Born in Long Beach, California in 1985, J Boog began his music career in the early 2000s, performing at local reggae shows and festivals. He quickly gained a following for his smooth vocals and uplifting lyrics, which blend traditional reggae rhythms with modern pop and R&B influences.

In 2011, J Boog released his debut album “Backyard Boogie,” which included the hit singles “Let’s Do It Again” and “Sunshine Girl.” The album showcased J Boog’s ability to create catchy, radio-friendly songs while staying true to his reggae roots. Since then, he has released several more successful albums, including “Wash House Ting” in 2016 and “Vibes” in 2019, which reached number 1 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.

J Boog’s music is known for its positive messages of love, unity, and social justice, as well as his commitment to spreading the culture and history of reggae music to a wider audience.
