Galactic at The Fillmore

Get ready for a high-energy Friday night in San Francisco when Galactic takes the stage at The Fillmore on Friday, October 30, 2026. The show starts at 8:00 PM, with doors opening at 7:00 PM, giving concertgoers plenty of time to arrive and settle into the venue before the performance begins. The date is officially listed for The Fillmore’s 2026 schedule.

Galactic is known for a dynamic approach to live music that draws from funk, rock, jazz, soul, and improvisational traditions. Their performances are built around musicianship, groove, and the kind of rhythmic energy that makes a live setting especially engaging. Rather than staying within the boundaries of a single style, the group creates a fluid musical experience that can move between tightly arranged passages and more expansive instrumental moments.

For San Francisco audiences, the October 30 performance offers a chance to experience that energy in the intimate surroundings of The Fillmore. Located at 1805 Geary Boulevard, the historic venue features a ballroom-style performance space with very limited seating, making it especially suited to concerts where the audience wants to be immersed in the action.

This event is general admission only, with an open dance floor and standing room only. There will be no reserved seating, so attendees should plan for a standing concert experience. The open floor is a natural fit for Galactic’s groove-oriented sound, allowing the crowd to move with the music and contribute to the atmosphere of the night.

The evening’s schedule is simple: doors open at 7:00 PM, and Galactic takes the stage at 8:00 PM. Guests may want to arrive early enough to enter comfortably and find their preferred spot on the floor.

Whether you’re a longtime Galactic fan or simply looking for a lively way to spend a Friday night, Galactic at The Fillmore promises an engaging live-music experience centered on groove, rhythm, and musicianship. Come ready to dance, listen, and enjoy an open-floor concert with one of the more adventurous sounds on the live-music circuit.
