Family Game Night

Make memories together at Family Game Night, featuring an exciting NHL matchup between the San Jose Sharks and Detroit Red Wings on Saturday, February 13, 2027, at 1:00 PM. With tickets on sale now, families and hockey fans can look forward to a fun-filled afternoon combining the excitement of professional hockey with the energy of a special Sharks game-day experience.

The main attraction is the Sharks vs. Red Wings matchup, where fans can expect fast-paced action from the opening faceoff through the final horn. NHL hockey delivers a unique combination of speed, skill, strategy, and physical competition, with every shift offering the possibility of a dramatic scoring chance or momentum-changing play. Watch for quick offensive rushes, impressive passing, defensive stops, power plays, penalty kills, breakaways, and spectacular saves as the two teams compete for the win.

Family Game Night provides an ideal opportunity to introduce younger fans to the excitement of live professional hockey. Instead of watching from home, attendees can experience the sound of the crowd, the intensity of the action, and the shared excitement of being part of a live audience. The special theme adds a family-oriented atmosphere that makes the game an appealing weekend outing for parents, children, relatives, and groups of friends.

The event takes place at SAP Center at San Jose, the home of Sharks hockey and a major destination for sports and entertainment in the Bay Area. The arena atmosphere puts fans close to the action and creates plenty of memorable moments throughout the game.

The 1:00 PM Saturday start time makes it easy to build a full family day around the event. Arrive early, explore the game-day atmosphere, find your seats, and get ready for an afternoon of exciting hockey.
