Elevated Intervals + Aligned – Pilates at Thrive City
Start your Saturday with movement, energy, and community at Weekly Fitness Classes at Thrive City, presented by Kaiser Permanente. On Saturday, November 7, 2026, Thrive City hosts a two-part fitness experience featuring Elevated Intervals – HIIT followed by Aligned – Pilates. The sessions begin at 10:00 AM and take place at the East Plaza, on the corner of 16th Street and Terry A. Francois Boulevard.
Designed for participants of all fitness levels, the Weekly Fitness Classes program gives members of the Bay Area community an opportunity to stay active with guidance from experienced fitness professionals. The November 7 schedule offers two different approaches to movement, allowing participants to join one class or make a morning of both.
From 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Elevated Intervals – HIIT brings a high-energy workout built around bursts of cardio along with lower-body, upper-body, and core exercises. The class is designed to keep participants moving through varied intervals while building strength, stamina, and overall conditioning.
From 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the focus shifts to Aligned – Pilates, a Pilates-inspired session combining core conditioning with more dynamic fitness movements. The class provides a different pace and training emphasis while continuing the morning’s focus on strength and controlled movement.
Leading the sessions is Jai Mac Neil, a professor in the University of San Francisco’s Kinesiology Department and Change Institute, as well as a performance coach for the Golden State Warriors, motivational speaker, and mindset specialist. Her professional experience includes working with organizations and athletes across a wide range of industries and sports.
Participants should bring a bottle of water and a mat. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so arriving early is recommended.
Parking is available seven days a week at the Chase Center Garage (CCG), located at 99 Warriors Way.
For the comfort and safety of all guests, Thrive City prohibits weapons, outside alcohol, coolers, lawn chairs, smoking, drones, amplified sound, and motorized vehicles. Pets must remain leashed, and trained service animals are welcome according to Thrive City’s guidelines. Bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, and scooters are also not permitted within the plaza, though bicycles may be secured at nearby street racks.
Whether you’re looking for a challenging HIIT session, a Pilates-focused workout, or both, this free Saturday program offers an accessible way to get moving and connect with the local community.
