After almost 50 years playing at Oakland Arena (formerly known as Oracle Arena), The Warriors moved to a new home across the bridge in San Francisco. The state of the art venue officially opened on September 6, 2019. With the largest scoreboard in the NBA, a capacity of over 18,000, luxury box seats and VIP lounges, the designers of the venue didn’t overlook anything when it comes to the experience. Chase Center also houses a large number of offices, over 11 acres of restaurants, 100,000 square feet of retail space and a waterfront park.
While Chase Center is known as the new home of the Golden State Warriors, the multi-purpose venue is a whole lot more than just a place to watch basketball games. The venue is set up to host events of any kind from concerts to sporting events. Aside from the 81 home games plus post season games that the Warriors play at the venue, The venue will also host a variety of concerts, festivals and other events throughout the year.
