Sufi Sessions San Francisco

Sufi Sessions San Francisco at Public Works

Discover an immersive evening of soulful global music and movement at Sufi Sessions San Francisco, taking place at Public Works in San Francisco, California, on Sunday, October 11, 2026. Beginning at 6:00 PM PDT, the event invites guests into a musical experience inspired by the spiritual traditions and universal themes associated with Sufi culture. Blending deep rhythms, expressive vocals, atmospheric sounds, and electronic music, Sufi Sessions offers a distinctive way to spend a Sunday evening in the city.

The experience is led by Omar, whose DJ sets bring together music from a wide range of cultural traditions and contemporary sounds. Rather than being confined to one particular genre, Sufi Sessions moves through an eclectic palette influenced by musical traditions from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas, and beyond. The result is a flowing sonic journey that can shift from meditative and atmospheric passages into more energetic, dance-oriented rhythms.

A defining feature of Sufi Sessions San Francisco is its emphasis on connection and presence. The event encourages attendees to engage with the music through movement while remaining attentive to the atmosphere and the people around them. This combination of spiritual inspiration and dance-floor energy gives the evening a character that feels both celebratory and reflective.

The event will be hosted at Public Works, 161 Erie Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, a venue well known for its diverse electronic music and cultural programming. Its intimate club environment provides an appropriate backdrop for an experience where sound, movement, and community are central to the evening.

Sufi Sessions San Francisco is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, starting at 6:00 PM PDT. The event is listed as 21+, and attendees should be prepared to show valid photo identification. With its combination of global sounds, soulful rhythms, and an intentionally immersive atmosphere, the event provides an inviting alternative to a typical night out.

Whether you are a dedicated fan of world music, electronic dance culture, or simply curious about a more soulful and intentional club experience, Sufi Sessions San Francisco at Public Works offers an opportunity to connect through music, movement, and shared energy in one of San Francisco’s distinctive nightlife spaces.
